When evaluating publications resulting from academic research, an important consideration is the impact they have within the scientific community. The number and quality of citations are also significant factors in career advancement, obtaining academic degrees, and applying for research grants.

Our Citation Searching service provides assistance to SZE faculty members, researchers, and PhD students under the following conditions:

• Citation searches are conducted only at the author's request.
• The service is available exclusively for specific applications, such as obtaining an academic degree or applying for a research grant.
• We search for citations only for publications already registered in the MTMT (Hungarian Scientific Bibliography Database) with an SZE affiliation.
• For publications without an SZE affiliation, we search for citations for a maximum of 5–10 publications selected by the author from those published within the last five years.
• Citation searches are conducted exclusively in the following electronic databases: Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, and Google Scholar.
• We are unable to conduct citation searches in printed sources.

The processing time depends on the number of citations to be searched and is at least 20 working days.
