László Timaffy (1916-2002) was known as the "Master Servant of Kisalföld" and the "Chronicler of Szigetköz".
He was a geographer, teacher, public educator, landscape and ethnography researcher, and collector.
His work provided invaluable contributions to understanding our past.
He was characterized by genuine dedication, vigor, and true humanity throughout his life.
Those who knew him still remember him with affection and respect.
This year, on the 100th anniversary of his birth, the Hanság Museum is honoring his memory with this
traveling exhibition, alongside numerous other county events.
