QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
 

All staff members of the Széchenyi István University University Library and Archives (hereinafter: SZE ULA) are committed to partner-centred, quality work on the basis of the following statement. Our organisational unit, as a specialised library for higher education, participates in the knowledge-sharing and knowledge-mediating activities of the University, bearing in mind the needs of those interested in education and research. It supports the teaching, research and artistic activities of the University through its network of specialised librarians. They help to measure the academic performance of teachers and researchers at the institutional and individual level by recording publications related to the University in a national bibliographic database. As a public and open service provider, the SZE ULA provides opportunities for anyone to acquire knowledge. SZE ULAs staff, with their high level of professional and other competences, are committed to the profession and to the operation of a partner library, in the hope of gaining social recognition through their dedication to the profession and their continuous training. The SZE ULA approaches its primary goal, one of the most important conditions for our long-term, effective operation, user satisfaction, with a quality collection of documents and services that are constantly adapted to the needs assessed. As far as possible, we strive for continuous innovation, taking into account human resources, the human resources, infrastructure and the institution.
