Archives
Our archives collect, professionally organize, preserve and make available the documents of lasting value of the Széchenyi István University and its predecessor institutions, as well as the personal legacies of the university’s lecturers and prominent representatives and the historical documents of the professions taught at the university. The establishment of the archives was approved by the Senate of Széchenyi István University on 16 December 2019, and the Ministry of Human Capacities authorized its operation on 26 June 2020. The processing of the documents of the Director General’s Office from 1970-1999 has started at the Győr headquarters, and the operational conditions of the archives are currently being set up.
