Scopus profile cleaning, correction
An author has a Scopus author profile or Scopus ID if his/her publication appears in a Scopus-indexed publication. This is automatically generated by the system based on the name, email address and affiliation of the publication.
An author can have more than one publication included in Scopus. In some cases, the system cannot identify the new publication and assign it to the existing profile, so the algorithm may create a new profile. An author can have up to two or three profiles.
In Scopus, authors themselves can request that their profiles be corrected or merged. You can read more about the process and the editing options HERE.
If requested, the library staff will be happy to assist the authors of the University in dealing with any problems, whether they concern profile cleaning or other document correction.
