If the library does not have a document in the stack, then it may be requested from any other library in Hungary or abroad via the interlibrary loan service. Photocopies may be requested of articles and excerpts from books. 

 An interlibrary loan can be requested personally at the reference desk on the first floor, via telephone (96/613-717) or via email from Zsófia Tóth toth.zsofia@sze.hu

It usually takes one week for the document to arrive. After receiving the document, the borrower is informed by email to the given email address.

How long can I borrow for? What about renewing?
Due dates and renewal availability are always determined by the sender library.

We do not request documents via interlibrary loan that are:

•  owned by our library but are borrowed
•  reference-only documents of the owner library (i.e. old books, manuals, theses, etc.).

What does ILL cost?
The basic service is free of charge. The costs of requests from abroad or photocopies have to be paid by the user. 
As with normal borrowing, overdue fees and/or costs of loss or damage to the documents have to be paid by the user, as well.
